Kinusaiga was invented in 1987 by a Japanese artist called Setsu Maemo. It has evolved into a therapeutic, easy, no-sew craft suitable for all types of crafters.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14+ (with adult supervision). The craft entails pushing fabric into a pre-cut foam template and can be fiddly dependent on the design. The workshop allows time to pick your fabrics and learn the skill at your own pace. The workshop is open to everyone; however, those who struggle with dexterity may find this a little fiddly!
If you end the workshop and haven't finished your craft, your host will encourage you choose some fabrics that will complete your design and provide you with tools for home. This is a no-rush workshop and we want you to feel calm and take it at your own pace!
